For over 1,500 years, Benedictine monasteries have relied on the generosity of benefactors for their economic well-being.
-
In a very real sense, the preservation of
Western civilization in the first millennium and its intellectual development
in the second owe much to those who supported Benedictine scholarship.
The third millennium brings new challenges. Educating
tomorrow’s leaders in the Benedictine tradition is as important today as it was
during the time of Saint Benedict. Pax in Sapientia – peace in
understanding, the motto of St. Anselm’s Abbey
School – is best achieved through
the Benedictine discipline of ora et
labora, work and prayer.
St. Anselm’s Abbey
School is dedicated to providing a
rigorous classical education to academically gifted young men, always guided by
the educational principles that Saint Benedict articulated for his school for the Lord’s service.
However, without the generous support of our
many parents, alumni, friends and benefactors, none of this would be possible.
There are many ways of giving to St. Anselm’s. On these pages you will find information
about different ways to give, our various campaigns, school fundraisers and how
to make a donation online. If you have
